WEEK THREE- Daily Log: Monday, March 5, 2007

• Today I began my time at my placement by typing up more charts. There are not a lot left and I am looking forward to completing them so that I can start another long term task. Before class time today, Mme. Mercer and I went over some things that we would be doing during the rest of the week.
• During class time I wrote up some words on the blackboard that corresponded with Mme. Mercer's lesson. The students had to use the lesson to place the proper possessive adjective with each word on the blackboard. We then took up their seatwork as a class. I also helped the students that didn't understand the concept, and actually made some headway in that they understood the lesson after I explained it to them.
• During the lesson, another teacher asked if I could make seventy copies of a worksheet for his class. I used a machine called a risograph that makes these copies really fast. I also made some photocopies for Mme. Mercer.
• During planning time, I typed up some words that Mme. Mercer wanted to be posted up on her class portal. These words are for a upcoming spelling/translation test that is scheduled for March 23. The purpose of having the words on the class portal is so that the students can study them over the March Break.
• After completing this task I did some more chart typing and finished two moreof them. I then cleaned up my working space and signed out. I worked for three hours today-from 11:55-2:55.
