- Today was a great day because I only had two more charts to type up! I started right away on the smaller of the two and managed to type and proofread it before class. One down, one to go!
- This was a different day because Mme. Mercer had switched classes with someone else, so I was in a different class. I took out Julia, Nick, Travis, Erica, and Brittany from the new class, and the same group I had from yesterday from the other class. The students were supposed to finish up their letters from yesterday and give them to me to read over and make corrections. They were then to write out their letter on a page in their book report and then colour and decorate it. My first group did not come close to finishing because they were very talkative and got distracted easily. They were new to me and abused my presence. My second group, however did no such thing and got right to work. As a result of their superb work habits I resolved to give them all RADS. A Radically Awesome Doing is given to a student when they exemplify our Catholic faith and set good examples for their peers. Their names are slipped into a draw and, in a school RAD assembly, are able to win some great prizes to reward their great bahaviour.
- During planning time I took down some papers for Mme. Mercer and placed them in the mailbox for another teacher. I then decided to tackle the mother of all charts. I worked on it solidly and did not leave the computer until I was completely done. And finally, after what seemed like forever, I folded up the chart and saved it on the floppy disk. I am now done typing up charts! Mme. Mercer said that on Tuesday I will start another long term job having to do with inventory.
- I worked for three and a quarter hours today. I will not be at my co-op tomorrow because it is Good Friday, and all schools are closed.
